BIG BAND

​The River City Big Band is large jazz ensemble that represent The River City Regiment. Under this banner, the Big Band performs a wide variety of jazz, funk, pop, latin, and contemporary charts. Many of the members within the Big Band also participate with at least another ensemble within River City Music. The Big Band performs at Fall Band Reviews and Winter/Spring Festivals representing the program well by bringing home awards. Not only that but the Big Band performs around the Greater Sacramento area upon request. Entry into this ensemble is done through audition or teacher recommendation. Instrumentation includes Alto/Tenor/Baritone Saxophone, Trombone, Trumpet, Piano, Vibes, Drumset, Bass, and Guitar.  This ensemble meets Tuesday-Friday from 7:30-8:25am.
